About

Creative and silly as a child, Theresa was the quirky entertainer. She codirected a homegrown movie called The Bus to Puerto Rico and started the “Weird But True” club with her trusty middle school sidekicks.

After creativity unintentionally took a backseat through adulthood, she has reignited that funky flame, pouring pockets of time into reading and writing.

Theresa is currently working on three projects. With her daughter, she is writing and illustrating a children’s picture book that offers tangible ways to navigate the intangible nature of losing a sibling to miscarriage. Theresa is also writing a young adult fiction book about a village torn apart by dispute. And she just started her husband’s family memoir highlighting their escape from Vietnam at the dawn of Communist rule.

After a career in the financial software industry, Theresa and her supportive husband/editor decided that her time was better spent caring for their four amazing children. A Florida native, she and her family moved to Franklin, Tennessee in 2017. She volunteers for the local American Heritage Girls troop and leads the Family Service Ministry at her church. Yoga and cardio keep her mind and body ticking. She also enjoys playing piano and ukulele, but she will not be going on tour anytime soon.
